Production-grade operations,
not a consultancy deck.

what we do

We help product teams ship faster with fewer 3am incidents. AIOps · DevOps · DevSecOps · SRE — all the boring acronyms that quietly decide whether your engineers love their job or quit.

how we work

Embedded with your team, not external. We write code, run pipelines, take pages. By the time we leave, your platform is something you own — not a black box only we understand.

what we don't do

No 200-page PowerPoint deliverables. No sales engineers. No "synergy." Just engineers who happen to be very good at production.

Awazos started in 2010, before "DevOps" was a job title anyone took seriously.

Back then, production was a Bash script, a wiki page that nobody read, and a phone call at 3am. We were the people answering the phone. We learned the discipline the hard way — by being on-call for systems that nobody had designed to be on-call for. The basics, done well.

Fifteen years later, the tools changed — Kubernetes, GitOps, OpenTelemetry, error budgets — but the work is the same. Build production systems that don't wake people up. Make them reliable enough to be boring. Hand them back to the team that has to live with them.

Today we work with scaleups and platform teams across the EU — the ones who outgrew their startup shape and need real production discipline before something embarrassing happens at the worst possible moment.

If you're reading this and recognizing your own setup — yes, we can help. We've seen this before.

how we actually work.

version · 1.0
last revised · jan 2026
negotiable · no
01

We write production code, not slide decks.

Every engagement ends with running code in your repos, not a 60-slide deliverable. The proof of work is the commit log.

02

We embed, we don't observe.

Our engineers join your Slack, your standups, your on-call rotation. We feel the pages your team feels.

03

We make ourselves removable.

We aim to leave behind a platform your team can run without us. Vendor lock-in is for software, not consultancies.

04

We say no when it matters.

If your priority is wrong, we'll tell you. If your timeline is unrealistic, we'll tell you. The check we lose is cheaper than the system we'd ship.

05

We're boringly transparent.

Weekly status emails, full access to our internal Linear, no "professional services" mystique. You see what we see.

06

We respect on-call.

4-day week. Sundays are off. If we wouldn't accept the on-call burden ourselves, we won't ask your team to either.

2010 · founded

One shared frustration, one company.

Awazos starts as a small operation answering 3am pages for systems nobody had designed to be on-call for. "DevOps" wasn't a job title yet. Production was a Bash script and a wiki page that nobody read.

origin
2013 · cloud era

First AWS migration shipped.

Helped a Greek e-commerce company move from a colocated rack to AWS — three months of careful work, zero customer-facing downtime. Still a customer today.

migration
2016 · containers

Bet early on Kubernetes.

Standardized on Kubernetes when most clients were still nervous about Docker. Built internal training material that became our hiring filter, and rolled out the same playbook across every active engagement.

platform
2019 · sre as discipline

Codified the on-call playbook.

After years of running incident response for clients, we wrote it all down. SLI/SLO templates, runbook structure, blameless postmortem format. Used internally for a year before we open-sourced it.

discipline
2021 · gitops

Migrated every client to GitOps.

Argo CD became our default. Goodbye Jenkins, goodbye click-ops deploys. Every infrastructure change now goes through a pull request. Auditable, reviewable, reversible.

workflow
2023 · observability

OpenTelemetry across the portfolio.

Standardized on OpenTelemetry for every active client. No more vendor lock-in. No more agent zoos. One instrumentation, any backend.

observability
2025 · open source

Released the SRE runbook publicly.

Our internal incident response playbook — published as a Markdown repo. 4k+ GitHub stars in the first month. We still update it weekly.

open source
2026 · today

Where we are right now.

200+ engagements shipped. Working on rolling out our maturity assessment tool and a self-serve on-call readiness audit later this year.
